Volunteers are alerted through the myResponder Mobile App by SCDF's 995 Operations Centre of any nearby Cardiac Arrest Cases within a 400-meter radius of their location. Upon receiving a notification, volunteers have the option to respond to the incident and provide their assistance. The Mobile App will indicate nearby AEDs that may be accessible.

Upon locating a victim experiencing cardiac arrest, volunteers can support the initial caller who informed SCDF by administering CPR or assisting in the utilization of an AED to resuscitate the patient. SCDF's 995 Ops Centre may also request responders to guide the ambulance team by directing them to the scene of the incident.

If you are 15 years or older and interested in volunteering, ensure you have your SingPass ID and password prepared. If you are under 18 years old, please secure parental approval for your participation. Providing your mobile phone number is essential for SCDF to contact you during an emergency situation.

Participation is completely voluntary, and volunteers are encouraged to respond only when available and within safe and reasonable means.

myResponder is a recent initiative by the Singapore Civil Defence Force. The myResponder Mobile App notifies volunteers of nearby Cardiac Arrest Cases to provide initial aid before the arrival of ambulance services. Through myResponder, volunteers benefit from the following features:
